Harold Spears, a 6-foot-5, 205-pound two-sport star from The Pennington School in Pennington, New Jersey, has landed a basketball offer from Lafayette, according to his AAU coach, Matt Pauls of Team NJABC.

Spears, who has excelled again this season as a basketball player in his junior year of competition, is also a terrific student.

Spears, who possesses a 3.9 grade point average, has many high quality academic schools pursuing him in both basketball and football.

He is considered a high quality recruit in football too. Harold has been timed in the 40 in 4.6 seconds.

Currently, in football, he has interest from schools such as Connecticut, Boston College, Maryland, Pittsburgh. and Rutgers.

In basketball, besides Layfayette, Harold has recruiting interest from Rider, Bucknell, LaSalle, Cornell, Princeton and Yale.
