POSITIONS: Power Forward/Center
CLASS: 2010, A Current Junior. The questions for Brian is what will his situation be after next season. According to the coaching staff at Satellite, they're hoping Wilson will be back next season. Then a decision will have to be made on what Wilson will do, depending upon his academic progress.
Is there a JUCO in his future? From what we can gather, it will be taken on a year by year situation.
We're hoping Wilson gains some footing in the classroom. If he works hard both on and off the court, he has a chance to be a division one player who can have a decent college career.
HIGH SCHOOL: Brian played last season at Long Island Lutheran in Brookville, New York for head coach Brian Carey.
He is currently at Satellite Academy in the Bronx, New York. The team is well coached. The staff there works very hard during the game, staying on top of their kids to play each possession with intensity.
PREVIOUS EVALUATION OF BRIAN WILSON'S INDIVIDUAL GAME:
WHAT MIKE SULLIVAN SAYS: I like Wilson's individual game. He needs to play hard all the time. I thought I saw that against Our Savior New American and he produced some solid results. The kid can play.
Brian has the size and feet movement around the rim to score in traffic. It's wanting the ball consistently on each possession that will help him become regarded as one of the best frontcourt players in the New York area.
