Wayne Newsom, a 6-foot-7, 210-pound forward from Piscataway High School in Piscataway, New Jersey, is expected to be a big part of some colleges/universities recruiting process over the next several months.

Possessing nice size, he's just a junior. However, the few months will likely be a big time for Newsom as he competes for Matt Pauls' NJABC AAU basketball program during spring and summer events.

"He's always shown me toughness and skills," previously said Pauls.

Because of what Pauls stated, several division have already expressed serious interest in his ability to play division one college basketball.

The schools he is considering are Fairfield, Iona, Drexel, Rider, Mount Saint Mary's, Stony Brook, Robert Morris, and Quinnipiac.

Below is a previous evaluation report:

NJABC HEAD COACH MATT PAULS' VIEW OF WAYNE NEWSOM'S INDIVIDUAL BASKETBALL GAME: "He dunks the ball, beats guys off the dribble, rebounds like a monster - he just needs to improve his mid-range jumper, and his strength.

"Wayne's work ethic is unbelievable. He sometimes works out three times per day, and often calls me and asks what he can do better...he's terrific to coach."
