New Jersey Prospect Has New List Of Schools

Reporter Mike Sullivan had previously given an update on the status of Khalid Lewis, an underclassman from the state of New Jersey. However, the list has changed ...

Khalid Lewis, a 6-foot-3, 170-pound combo guard from Trenton Catholic Academy in Hamilton, New Jersey (previously McCorristin Catholic H.S.), has an expanded list of schools, according to sources.

We previously reported several division one programs were staying interested in Lewis' early recruiting process.

Many reasons we outlined in our previous articles included:

Due to him jumpstarting his 2008-2009 season with a solid performance at the Jimmy Salmon run event last Fall, Lewis continued to show why he's worth watching in the spring and summer AAU sessions.

Team NJABC head coach Matt Pauls has spoken highly of Lewis and his skill level. "He's so young but getting better," Pauls said.

Lewis is likely to play spring and summer AAU ball for Pauls' Team NJABC AAU program.

The new list of schools includes Fairfield, Fordham, Robert Morris, Siena, Marist, Drexel, Stony Brook, St. Francis, Monmouth, Iona, and St. Joe's.
