Hakeem Harris, a 6-foot-1, 190-pound combo guard from Blair Academy in Blairstown, New Jersey, is a player to watch this spring and summer on the AAU circuit. Harris, a 2010 prospect, has started to pick up some notable interest in his individual game

His older brother, Jamal, is a big, positive influence for Hakeem, helping him along with this important process.

The list is impressive as it stands today: Pittsburgh, Seton Hall, Vanderbilt, Virginia Tech, Providence, and Stanford.

There are many Ivy League schools too keeping track of Hakeem's process since he is a very good student. It appears Harris will have some significant interest from some quality academic schools over the next few months.

Obviously, the spring and summer AAU tournaments will be a big influence on who offers him a scholarship.

Hakeem possesses terrific speed. Once this part of his game is utilized within the framework of a game, he'll become an even more effective guard.
