2010 Prospect Taking A Spin With NJ AAU Team

Reporter Mike Sullivan updates a player from the Philadelphia area who is expected to compete for one of the local AAU teams during the next few months ...

Shaquille Duncan, a 6-foot-8, 190-pound forward from Frankfort High School in Philadelphia, Penn., is going to split time between two AAU programs over the next several months -- Paul Gripper's Team Phenom and Matt Pauls' Team NJABC.

The 2010 prospect is considered athletic and skilled. Here is a brief view of his individual game:

Duncan has the ability to knock down the medium range jumper. He also possesses long arms which help him retrieve loose balls off the glass at both ends of the court.

As he strengthens his frame, Duncan will finish more effectively near the rim against the bigger bodies.

"He works very hard," said Team NJABC head coach Matt Pauls. "He has multiple offers too."

Pauls said that schools like Robert Morris, Nebraska, LSU, Florida, etc are among the early interested in his skill level.

We'll keep you posted as we watch him this spring and summer.
