List Expands For East Coast Forward Prospect

Reporter Mike Sullivan takes the time to update the recruiting list for East Coast forward prospect Shaquille Duncan, who is going to play at some AAU events for an area AAU team, Team NJABC, over the next couple of months ...

Shaquille Duncan, a 6-foot-8, 190-pound forward from Frankfort High School in Philadelphia, Penn., has seen his recruiting list expand by a few schools over the past month due to word getting about about his upside.

It's likely the list will continue to grow as Shaquille is going to compete for two of the better AAU teams in the area, Paul Gripper's Team Phenom and Matt Pauls' Team NJABC. He'll split time between these two talented basketball programs in an effort to make himself a high division one prospect.

Note: Duncan previously attended Prep Charter. By enrolling at Frankfort, in January 2009, he eliminated the two-hour, twice daily commute. (more)

The current junior and rising senior, who is a member of the 2010 class, has the ability to damage a team with his offensive skills. He's athletic and does have the capability to knock down a jumper.

We previously reported our thoughts on his individual game:

Shaquille has the ability to knock down the medium range jumper. He also possesses long arms which help him retrieve loose balls off the glass at both ends of the court.

As he strengthens his frame, Duncan will finish more effectively near the rim against the bigger bodies.

CURRENT SCHOOLS INTERESTED:: You can add Drexel to the list of schools. Previously, we added Fairfield as well for Shaquille Duncan.

Besides Fairfield and Drexel, Robert Morris, Stony Brook, Nebraska, Florida, and LSU have also expressed some level of recruiting interest in Shaquille Duncan's individual game, according to Matt Pauls' of Team NJABC.
