ACC School Offers NJ Football Prospect

Dontae Johnson, a 6-foot-4, 190-pound two-sport star from The Pennington School in Pennington, New Jersey, was offered a football scholarship by Boston College. This elevates the number of football offers to 12 for Dontae.

Previously, this website broke the story that Johnson landed an offer from Vanderbilt. In addition, Syracuse, West Virginia, Stanford, Louisville, Virginia, Minnesota, Connecticut, North Carolina State, Maryland, and Michigan have also offered a free ride.

Dontae also has interest in Duke, Virginia Tech, Florida, and Georgia.

Johnson competes in football at the wide receiver/safety position. He's been timed in the 40 in 4.5 seconds.

Dontae is also a great student, holding a 3.8 grade point average.

A 2010 prospect, Dontae is expected to play for Pauls' Team NJABC basketball team this spring and summer.
