New Jersey Forward Keeping Options Open

Chase Plummer, a 6-foot-5, 200-pound combo forward from St. Patrick High School in Elizabeth, New Jersey, said he is keeping his options open regarding his recruiting process.

"I'm wide open," he said. "I just want to focus on my summer and work on to improve my overall game."

Plummer, who already has a division one college basketball scholarship offer from Robert Morris, competes at a high level for one of the country's top high school basketball programs in St. Patrick. He also plays for head coach Kevin Boyle, a tireless worker who thrives on teaching the fundamentals of the game.

Robert Morris was the recent school to have offered Plummer a free scholarship to play division one college basketball.

Chase will also have an opportunity to play in some AAU basketball tournaments for head coach Matt Pauls of Team NJABC.

WHAT MATT PAULS THINKS OF CHASE PLUMMER'S INDIVIDUAL GAME: "He plays for a great coach in a great high school program. He's learning everyday and that includes practice. He has some good upside to his game and I expect him to be even better by the time he's graduating high school."

PREVIOUS EVALUATION ON CHASE PLUMMER'S INDIVIDUAL GAME: Plummer is a tough nosed player who thrives near the rim in one-on-one battles. He has a solid mid-range game.

The areas Chase is currently working on to improve include ballhandling and his on-the-ball defense.

Ivy League, Patriot League, the Atlantic Ten, and the Northeast Conference are also taking a serious look at Chase Plummer's individual game.
