Bruce Brittingham, a 6-foot, 165-pound combo guard from Trenton Central High School in Trenton, New Jersey, is finishing up his second year academically.

Brittingham is another player we have profiled that competes in two sports -- football and basketball. It appears that many of these types of players compete in the Team NJABC AAU program too under Matt Pauls.

Pauls has stated that Bruce has improved in his game too while under head coach Randy Morrison at Trenton Central High School. "It's a great high school program," Pauls said.

Bruce has a couple of more years to polish his individual game. Pauls said Brittingham is a hard worker who improves each practice and game. "He has the heart of a lion," said Pauls.

Bruce competes much bigger than his size. He's on the glass a lot, battling for loose balls against the bigger bodies in the paint and scoring near the lip of the rim.

With two more full seasons left to play high school basketball, Bruce has opened the athletic options too, being a good football player.

"I think he has a chance to be a high division one football player," Pauls stated.

We'll keep you posted on his progress this summer from the AAU basketball tournaments.
