Upstate Guard Polishing His PG Skills

Reporter Mike Sullivan updates the recruiting status of Davon Marshall, a rising senior guard from Niagara Falls High School in Niagara Falls, New York ...

Davon Marshall, a 5-foot-10 combo guard from Niagara Falls High School in Niagara Falls, New York, is working very hard to make himself an attractive recruit to division one basketball programs.

Marshall, according to the coaches at Niagara Falls High School, will be polishing his lead guard skills while playing for the Buffalo Hoops AAU program.

A 2010 prospect, Marshall averaged in double figures again this season for a team that played a very competitive schedule, including some teams nationally.

Davon has always proven he can score points in bunches, including from the perimeter. The question for college programs is how far along does he come playing the point guard slot.

PREVIOUS INDIVIDUAL GAME EVALUATION:

Davon has the ability to drain jumpers. He has been working on his ballhandling and lead guard skills such as distributing the ball when needed.

COLLEGE/UNIVERSITY RECRUITING INTERESTS: Albany, Canisius, Buffalo, Lehigh, Northeastern, Central Connecticut State.

DAVON MARSHALL'S STRENGTHS: Davon's best asset is his skill level from the perimeter. As he adds strength to his frame, he will be able to diversify his game more with finishes near the rim.
