Among the players who showcased his skills was Ryan McCoy, a 6-foot-6, 180-pound forward from Montgomery High School in the state of New Jersey.
Pauls is very high on McCoy and other players in his program. "He's an attractive recruit because he's just finished his sophomore season and already has some size and skills," Pauls said.
So, McCoy has this summer and two more high school seasons to prove he's going to be a division one basketball player.
WHAT MATT PAULS PREVIOUSLY SAID ABOUT RYAN MCCOY'S INDIVIDUAL GAME:
He's emerging as one of the better players in the area from his class. He can play the wing position. He is one of the best pure shooters in the 2011 class (New Jersey).
Ryan works hard both on the court and in the classroom. So he could have a wide range of schools recruiting him in the future.
McCoy will have a decent range of schools pursuing him. We previously reported he had early interest from Davidson, Robert Morris, and Cornell.
