WHAT TEAM NJABC HEAD COACH MATT PAULS THINKS OF WAYNE NEWSOM'S INDIVIDUAL GAME:

Wayne has a nice basketball frame. It helps him compete effectively inside the paint. But he's always shown that he has the toughness and the inside skills to be a very productive player.

He always works hard, can dunk the ball, and is getting better every week using his handle.

He is working on improving his perimeter game and strength. He's working also hard in the weight room.

PREVIOUS QUOTE FROM MATT PAULS:

His work ethic is unbelievable. He sometimes works out three times per day, and often calls me and asks what he can do better...he's terrific to coach.

Fairfield, Stony Brook, Iona, St. Francis of New York, Penn, Columbia, St. Peter's, Drexel, Dartmouth, Rider, Harvard, Yale, Mount Saint Mary's, Robert Morris, and Quinnipiac.
