Two-Sport Athlete Takes In College Camp

Anthony Gaffney, a 6-foot-2, 170-pound football/basketball prospect from The Pennington School in Pennington, New Jersey, had a good hoops camp at St. Joe's in Philadelphia, Penn., according to his AAU coach, Matt Pauls.

Pauls stated that Gaffney's individual game continues to progress, giving him many options down the road.

MATT PAULS ON ANTHONY GAFFNEY'S INDIVIDUAL GAME:

His midrange game has improved dramatically. He has been attacking the rim with a vengeance. He needs improve his ballhandling and penetrating left.

Anthony has also expressed interest in attending camps at Columbia, Penn, Cornell, and Bucknell. Anthony plans on playing also in the Hoop Group Elite camps and will compete in four AAU tournaments during the July evaluation period.

COLLEGE/UNIVERSITY INTEREST IN ANTHONY GAFFNEY'S GAME:

Several Ivy League and Patriot League schools are recruiting him hard for basketball and football.

Anthony had an impressive performance football wise at the Penn State camp.

Gaffney plays basketball for Bernie Gurick at The Pennington School.
