Chase Plummer, a 6-foot-5, 200-pound combo forward from St. Patrick High School in Elizabeth, New Jersey, has improved his game over the past year to land some early scholarship offers. The prospect is still open in his recruiting process.

"I'm working on improving my game," he said.

Plummer, whose last scholarship offer came from Robert Morris, plays for one of the country's top high school basketball programs in St. Patrick. He also plays for head coach Kevin Boyle, a terrific motivator and teacher of the game.

Chase is expected to play in some AAU basketball tournaments for Team NJABC and head coach Matt Pauls this summer.

WHAT TEAM NJABC HEAD COACH MATT PAULS THINKS OF CHASE PLUMMER'S INDIVIDUAL GAME: "He plays for a great coach in a great high school program. He's learning everyday and that includes practice. He has some good upside to his game and I expect him to be even better by the time he's graduating high school."

EVALUATION ON CHASE PLUMMER'S INDIVIDUAL GAME: He's tough in the paint. Developing a more consistent game with his short jumper. Working on the skills to play more small forward, including ballhandling.

COLLEGES/UNIVERSITIES OF INTEREST:

Ivy League, Patriot League, the Atlantic Ten, and the Northeast Conference are currently monitoring his progress. Obviously, the summer is a big time for Plummer to showcase his talent.
