2011 NJ Forward Has Early D-1 Interest

Reporter Mike Sullivan has a free look at the individual game of Eric Fanning, a forward prospect from the state of New Jersey who has shown some decent skills at some college camps ...

There are several schools starting to monitor the progress of Eric Fanning, a 6-foot-5, 200-pound combo forward from Trenton Central High School in Trenton, New Jersey. "Schools from the NEC, Southern Conference, MAAC, America East are showing interest," said Team NJABC head coach Matt Pauls.

According to Pauls, Fanning has attracted early attention to his recruiting process due to Eric's ability to score off the glass.

Eric does a nice job in the paint, producing baskets near the rim on second chance efforts. He continues to work on his perimeter game, trying to diversify himself as he prepares for the July evaluation period.

An excellent student too, he has many division one options open as he could go to a academically inclined school too.

Fanning plays for Randy Morrison at Trenton Central and will compete for one of the NJABC teams this summer.
