New Jersey Guard Prospect Lands Offer

Reporter Mike Sullivan updates the recruiting status of Frantz Massenat, a guard prospect from the state of New Jersey ... Massenat landed a scholarship offer last night ...

Frantz Massenat, a 6-foot-3, 170-pound lead guard from Trenton Catholic Academy in Hamilton, New Jersey, according to his his AAU head coach, Matt Pauls of Team NJABC.

"Drexel University offered last night," said Pauls.

The scholarship offer comes after Frantz took extensive time to unofficially visit Massachusetts, Boston University, Harvard, and Northeastern.

"He's still open and doesn't have a leader in his recruiting process," said Pauls.

Massenat will compete for Pauls this month during the evaluation college coaches period. We will have updates on his progress throughout this month.

WHAT TEAM NJABC HEAD COACH MATT PAULS SAID ABOUT FRANTZ MASSENAT'S INDIVIDUAL GAME:

"Frantz has had an excellent spring and has dramatically improved his strength, speed and three-point shooting. He works very hard and can help a team win a game in many different ways. He's a great kid too and has many options open to him."
