East Coast Guard Rallies Team To Win

Devin Coleman, a 6-foot-3, 180-pound shooting guard/small forward from Friends Central High School in Wynnewood, Penn., scored 22 points in both a semifinal and final game held at the Reebok East Summer Classic in the 16 and under category.

A rising junior, Coleman competes for Paul Gripper and Phenom East AAU program. He helped Gripper's team produce an impressive tournament title.

His performance adds to an already impressive list of accomplishments over the last few months. Here are many reasons why to watch the progress of this solid prospect:

1. Made the all tournament team at the Bob Gibbons Memorial Day Classic held in North Carolina.

2. Selected to the all tourney team at the Southern Invitational in Charlottesville, Virginia.

3. Honored with being named to the all tournament team at the Pitt Jamfest.

Devin is currently averaging 26 points a game for Gripper's AAU team.

Only 16 years old, Coleman has division one scholarship offers from Temple, Siena, St. Joe's, La Salle, and Delaware.

He remains open in his recruiting process as more than 10 other programs are monitoring his progress this summer.
