WHAT TEAM NJABC HEAD COACH MATT PAULS THINKS OF WAYNE NEWSOM'S INDIVIDUAL GAME:

Wayne has done a great job of helping us this summer win some basketball games. He's tough near the rim and plays hard for every loose ball. He's always been a very competitive player and it has helped Team NJABC a lot this July.

*Team NJABC claimed the Joe Brown Memorial tournament held this week in Englewood, New Jersey.

MATT PAULS' PREVIOUS THOUGHTS ON WAYNE NEWSOM'S INDIVIDUAL GAME:

He always works hard, can dunk the ball, and is getting better every week using his handle.

He is working on improving his perimeter game and strength. He's working also hard in the weight room. His work ethic is unbelievable. He sometimes works out three times per day, and often calls me and asks what he can do better...he's terrific to coach.
