Underrated Prospect Picking Up D-1 Interest

Frantz Massenat, a 6-foot-3, 170-pound lead guard from Trenton Catholic Academy in Hamilton, New Jersey, is a key player for Team NJABC head coch Matt Pauls.

Massenat is expected to compete this weekend at the Super Showcase for Team NJABC at the Super Showcase, a boy's aau tournament being held on the grounds of Disney World.

"He's an important player for us because he helps us in so many areas," said Pauls.

The recruiting interest in Frantz' individual game has progressed nicely too. He had previously been offered by Drexel while schools like Massachusetts, Stony Brook, St. Francis, Boston University, Harvard, and Northeastern were showing some interest.

"He's making the right decisions with the basketball," said Pauls, after Team NJABC claimed the Joe Brown Memorial tournament.

WHAT TEAM NJABC HEAD COACH MATT PAULS SAID ABOUT FRANTZ MASSENAT'S INDIVIDUAL GAME:

"Frantz has had an excellent spring and has dramatically improved his strength, speed and three-point shooting. He works very hard and can help a team win a game in many different ways. He's a great kid too and has many options open to him."
