Tony Chennault, a 6-foot-1 point guard out of St. John Neumann-Goretti in Philadelphia, Penn., has impressed his AAU head coach Matt Pauls so far this summer.

Chennault is competing with Team NJABC at the Super Showcase in Orlando, Florida at the Wide World of Sports complex on the grounds of Disney World.

"Tony has done an outstanding job for us," said Pauls. "He has done a great job breaking down guys off the bounce."

Team NJABC has run off a nice string of victories too. Chennault, who gave a commitment to Wake Forest after receiving scholarship offers from Rutgers, Indiana, Marquette, and Villanova, has shown Pauls he can help his team win games in many areas.

"His shooting has become more consistent," praised Pauls.

Chenault was strong in Las Vegas on the circuit. A team leader and a guy who values winning, this summer saw him do a lot of growing on the court. Chenault is Wake's second commitment from the Class of 2010. In-state sniper J.T. Terrell is already on board.
