Swingman Prospect Generating D-1 Interest

Reporter Mike Sullivan has an update on the summer of shooting guard/small forward prospect Jabril Trawick, who is competing for Team Phenom this month ...

Jabril Trawick, a 6-foot-4, 186-pound shooting guard/small forward from Team Phenom AAU program, continues to generate early division one interest in his skill level.

We previously reported that Jabril launched his July evaluation period on a great note, scoring 17 points and grabbing 11 rebounds to help Paul Gripper's team claim the 16 and under title at the Reebok summer event.

Trawick, a member of the class of 2011, is a rising junior who averaged 11 points a game in 27 minutes in a tournament played in Las Vegas, Nevada last week.

Secure already with an offer from Drexel, Jabril is being looked at as being a big guard on the college level by several division one programs.

Trawick averaged nine rebounds a game. An area to work on is consistency from beyond the three point line. As this category is improved over the next year, expect him to produce more points since defenders will have to play him honest on the perimeter.
