Pauls: Spears Doing The Little Things Well

Harold Spears, a 6-foot-5, 205-pound two-sport star from The Pennington School in Pennington, New Jersey, has had a very good summer, according to his AAU coach, Matt Pauls of Team NJABC.

"Harold has done a great job doing all the little things to help us win," said Pauls. "He's rebounding, nailing free throws, getting to the rim."

Spears, who is playing with the 17 and under team that captured the recent Joe Brown Memorial tournament held in Englewood, New Jersey earlier this month, has some decent interest recruiting wise.

"Basketball wise he's hearing from the Ivy League schools, Patriot League schools, schools from the NEC and MAAC," said Pauls.

Spears is a very flexible basketball player and Pauls smartly utilizes him at a few positions, depending upon defensive needs and matchups.

The next events for Spears and the Team NJABC is this Friday at St. John's University.

Spears previously secured a basketball offer from Lafayette.

*Harold is a very good student, possessing close to a 3.9 grade point average.
