LI Star's Summer Will Conclude In Syracuse

Reporter Mike Sullivan has an update on Long Island prospect Tobias Harris, who had such a big summer that many more scouts discovered this gem located at Dix Hills West High School ...

Tobias Harris, a 6-foot-9, 225-pound swingman from Half Hollow Hills West High School in Dix Hills, New York, is going to finish up his summer by competing in the Syracuse Elite camp in late August, according to his father, Torrel.

Mr. Harris also stated that Tyler, class of 2011 to be reclassified to 2012, will also join his older brother at this team camp.

"Tobias will cut his list down at the end of August," said Mr. Harris.

Currently, the recruiting list consists of in no particular order Notre Dame, Georgia Tech, Connecticut, Syracuse, Rutgers, Maryland, Virginia Tech, West Virginia, Louisville, Tennessee, and Oklahoma.

Mr. Harris said Tobias doesn't have a leader right now and is considering all schools equally.

It's likely that Tobias will also play in the IS8 Fall League with the Unique All Stars, a team coached by his dad.

We'll keep you posted on his play at the Syracuse camp too.
