Upstate Guard Has Solid Division One Interest

Reporter Mike Sullivan updates the recruiting status of a guard prospect from Niagara Falls High School in Niagara Falls, New York ...

Davon Marshall, a 5-foot-10 combo guard from Niagara Falls High School in Niagara Falls, New York, was selected to the all star game at the Carabana Classic in Toronto last week.

Marshall has had a terrific summer too. He helped Niagara Falls High School claim the championship of the University of Buffalo team camp played last weekend.

Davon has been working on his point guard skills to make himself a more attractive recruit. The rising senior has the ability to score from anywhere on the court and produce points in bunches.

According to informed members of Niagara Falls High School, Marshall is hearing from St. Bonaventure, Kent State, Cornell, and Buffalo. He is still open in his recruiting process.

Davon played for the Buffalo Hoops AAU basketball program during the summer.

A member of the 2010 class, Davon averaged 18 points a game last season.

PREVIOUS INDIVIDUAL GAME EVALUATION:

Davon has the ability to drain jumpers. He has been working on his ballhandling and lead guard skills such as distributing the ball when needed.

PREVIOUS COLLEGE/UNIVERSITY RECRUITING INTERESTS: Albany, Stony Brook, Siena, Canisius, Lehigh, Northeastern, Central Connecticut State.
