New Jersey Prospect Takes Unofficial Visit

Reporter Mike Sullivan updates the status of Frantz Massenat, a solid division one basketball prospect from the state of New Jersey ...

Frantz Massenat, a 6-foot-3, 170-pound lead guard from Trenton Catholic Academy in Hamilton, New Jersey, took an unofficial visit to Drexel, according to his AAU coach, Team NJABC bench coach Matt Pauls.

Massenat, who played for Pauls' team during the recent July evaluation period, is a player who does several things well on the court. This has enabled him to generate some solid division one interest in his basketball skills.

With an offer already on the table from Drexel, Franz also had previous interest from Massachusetts, Stony Brook, Fordham, Rider, Iona, St. Joe's, Temple, Niagara, St. Francis, Boston University, Harvard, and Northeastern.

WHAT TEAM NJABC HEAD COACH MATT PAULS SAID ABOUT FRANTZ MASSENAT'S INDIVIDUAL GAME:

"Frantz does a great job in making basketball decisions when he has the basketball. He had an excellent spring and continues to make progress in shooting the basketball.

"He works very hard and can help a team win a game in many different ways. He's a great kid too and has many options open to him."
