East Coast Guard Has Solid D-1 Interest

Devin Coleman, a 6-foot-3, 180-pound shooting guard/small forward from Friends Central High School in Wynnewood, Penn., had a terrific summer and has generated some solid division one interest in his skill level.

According to his AAU coach Joey Gripper, Coleman was the MVP of the Reebok Summer Classic and was named to the All tournament team in an event held at West Virginia for the 16 and under Team Phenom team.

In addition, in Las Vegas, Coleman had some solid performances: "He scored 31 points to help us advance in the ADIDAS 64," said Gripper.

COLEMAN'S BIG SPRING AND SUMMER ON THE AAU CIRCUIT:

Devin dropped in 24 points, grabbed four rebounds, and had two assists to help Team Phenom claim a 76-59 victory at the West Virginia Jamfest.

Below is a previously detailed report on it:

1. Made the all tournament team at the Bob Gibbons Memorial Day Classic held in North Carolina.

2. Selected to the all tourney team at the Southern Invitational in Charlottesville, Virginia.

3. Honored with being named to the all tournament team at the Pitt Jamfest.

4. Named to the 2009 Reebok Summer Classic All tournament team.

**Devin averaged over 25 points a game for Gripper's AAU team.

Devin has interest from West Virginia, Georgia Tech, Siena, Marist, St. Joe's, La Salle, Temple, and Delaware.
