POSITIONS: Power Forward/Center

CLASS: 2010, a senior. School begins next week in the New York area tomorrow and on Wednesday.

COLLEGE/UNIVERSITIES RECRUITING INTERESTS:

Samuels has scholarship offers from Fairfield, Drexel, Iona, Loyola and Robert Morris.

He also has interest from St. Peter's, Buffalo, La Salle, Siena, Albany, St. Francis, Quinnipiac, Stony Brook, Manhattan, Seton Hall, St. John's, and Rutgers. The offers are from schools he would likely have a better chance of making an impact down the road as his game needs to be more polished near the rim.

PREVIOUS LOOK AT DAVID SAMUELS' INDIVIDUAL GAME:

David uses his frame wisely near the rim to score. He makes him living in the paint and is working hard on his perimeter game to make himself more balanced offensively.

At Holy Cross High School in Flushing, New York, David showed the ability to score near the rim and be relentless. As he becomes stronger, he'll finish more consistently around the basket.
