New Jersey Prospect Chooses A School

Reporter Mike Sullivan has a story on a player from New Jersey who will play basketball in college not too far away from his hometown ...

Frantz Massenat, a 6-foot-3, 170-pound lead guard from Trenton Catholic Academy in Hamilton, New Jersey, made a verbal commitment to Drexel, according to his AAU coach, Team NJABC bench coach Matt Pauls.

Frantz had recently taken an unofficial visit to the Drexel campus.

PREVIOUS THOUGHTS ON FRANTZ MASSENAT'S INDIVIDUAL GAME: Massenat, who played for Matt Pauls' talented Team NJABC AAU program during the spring and summer months, competes hard all the time and helps his team in many important aspects.

He plays tough defense, rotates the ball effectively out of trap situations, and can make a steal or grab a rebound when needed.

WHAT TEAM NJABC HEAD COACH MATT PAULS SAID ABOUT FRANTZ MASSENAT'S INDIVIDUAL GAME:

"Frantz does a great job in making basketball decisions when he has the basketball. He had an excellent spring and continues to make progress in shooting the basketball.

"He works very hard and can help a team win a game in many different ways. He's a great kid too and has many options open to him."
