Upstate Guard Prospect Has Good Tourney

Davon Marshall, a 5-foot-10 combo guard from Niagara Falls High School in Niagara Falls, New York, is expected to have a big senior season for his team.

Based upon the progress he made in polishing his lead guard skills over the summer and competing in many AAU tournaments, Davon has made himself a more attractive prospect.

Playing against some of the best players from Canada and in the upstate area of New York, Davon showed the ability to lead an offense and also bury some jumpers.

^In the last week of the July evaluation period, he was honored by being selected to the all star game at the Carabana Classic in Toronto.

In addition, Davon helped Niagara Falls High School claim the championship of the University of Buffalo at the team camp.

THOUGHTS ON DAVON'S SUMMER PLAY: Davon has been working on his point guard skills to make himself a more attractive recruit. The rising senior has the ability to score from anywhere on the court and produce points in bunches.

Buffalo, Cornell, Kent State, St. Bonaventure, Albany, Northeastern, Canisius, Central Connecticut State.

*A member of the 2010 class, Davon averaged 18 points a game last season for Niagara Falls High School. The key for Davon is to make progress in his point guard game.

PREVIOUS INDIVIDUAL GAME EVALUATION:

Davon has the ability to drain jumpers. He has been working on his ballhandling and lead guard skills such as distributing the ball when needed.
