Long Island Prospect's In Homes Going Well

Reporter Mike Sullivan has an update on the in home visits for Long Island prospect Tobias Harris, who has several high major programs interested in his skill level ....

Tobias Harris, a 6-foot-9, 225-pound swingman from Half Hollow Hills West High School in Dix Hills, New York, continues to move efficiently through several in home visits, according to his father, Torrel.

"Everything is going great," said Mr. Harris. "All of the meetings have been three to four hours."

Connecticut has had to reschedule its in home visit due to another commitment for the coaching staff. Mr. Harris said he expects to see them on another date."

"All the coaches have been great," Mr. Harris said. "They've discussed everything about their program, regarding from academic, school environment, to the basketball program."

Mr. Harris said it's been a rewarding process for several reasons. "We're getting a very clear understanding of their schools," he said. "Tobias, myself and my wife have been extremely impress. These home visit are very important for our family."

Kentucky, Georgia Tech, St. John's, Connecticut, Notre Dame, Tennessee, Syracuse, Louisville, Oklahoma, West Virginia, and Maryland have been programs that Harris has expressed interest in.

It's likely that Tobias will also compete in the IS8 Fall League with the Unique All Stars, a team coached by his dad.

We'll certainly keep an eye on his progress there.
