PREVIOUS EVALUATION OF TARIQ CAREY'S INDIVIDUAL GAME:
STRENGTHS IN HIS INDIVIDUAL GAME: Can handle the ball effectively and doesn't mind challenging the bigger bodies inside the paint with drives to the basket.
A player who can score, Tariq has plenty of time to (A.) strengthen his frame, (B.) Develop more consistency in his perimeter effectiveness, and (C.) Become a better decision maker with the basketball.
*Carey competed for a Sports University team at IS8 yesterday morning against the New York Elite. He produced six points, moved the ball smartly around the perimeter in the tiny gym when he felt pressure.
However, Carey played on a team that features Kyrie Irving, perhaps the best guard in the country. And, for this particular game, Irving dominated the basketball and ran the show.
