Upstate Guard Has Solid Division One Interest

Reporter Mike Sullivan provides a free look at the individual game of Davon Marshall, who has an impressive summer competing on the AAU circuit ...

Davon Marshall, a 5-foot-10 combo guard from Niagara Falls High School in Niagara Falls, New York, is going to be counted on to have a big year for his basketball team.

The senior guard has the ability to produce points from almost anywhere on the court. However, he's been working hard on polishing his lead guard skills to prepare himself for the next level -- a chance to play division one college basketball.

We've detailed some of his successes too:

In the last week of the July evaluation period, he was honored by being selected to the all star game at the Carabana Classic in Toronto.

In addition, Davon helped Niagara Falls High School claim the championship of the University of Buffalo at the team camp.

THOUGHTS ON DAVON MARSHALL'S INDIVIDUAL GAME:

As we've mentioned above, Marshall's game is improving in that he's become a better leader and distributer of the basketball. It's obvious he can drop in the jumper and produce points.

SCHOOLS OF INTEREST:

Buffalo, Cornell, Kent State, St. Bonaventure, Albany, Northeastern, Canisius, Central Connecticut State.

*A senior this upcoming year, Davon averaged 18 points a game last season for Niagara Falls High School.
