NJ Two-Sport Star To Play Football In ACC

Dontae Johnson, a 6-foot-4, 190-pound two-sport star from The Pennington School in Pennington, New Jersey, has committed to North Carolina State to play football, according to his AAU basketball coach, Matt Pauls.

Johnson previously had interest from Boston College, Vanderbilt, Syracuse, West Virginia, Stanford, Louisville, Virginia, Minnesota, Connecticut, Maryland, and Michigan.

Johnson competes in football at the wide receiver/safety position. He's been timed in the 40 in 4.5 seconds.

Dontae is also a great student, holding a 3.8 grade point average.

A 2010 prospect, Dontae played for Pauls' Team NJABC basketball team this past spring and summer.
