Guard Prospect Has New Recruiting List

Reporter Mike Sullivan has a recruiting update on Chandler Fraser-Pauls, a prospect from the state of New Jersey who has the ability to play two sports effectively ...

Chandler Fraser-Pauls, a 6-foot, 160-pound basketball/soccer player from the Pennington School in Pennington, New Jersey, has done a very good job in attracting attention in the both sports he currently competes in.

Chandler is a player worth watching over the next 12 months, a chance to measure how much progress he's making in his individual game.

He does most of his scoring from the perimeter but is working hard on gaining strength and taking the ball to the rim.

THOUGHTS ON CHANDLER'S INDIVIDUAL GAME:

Chandler has an above average perimeter shot, more effective when shooting within the flow of a setup offense. He's also tough and possesses confidence, including taking on the bigger bodies near the rim.

An accomplished soccer player as well as being a very good student will open up many avenues of opportunities for this underclassman, a rising junior. He'll get stronger and his perimeter game will become more consistent too.

HIGH SCHOOL HEAD COACH: Bernie Gurick at The Pennington School.

AAU TEAM: Team NJABC

CAMPS ATTENDED: Columbia, Penn, Cornell, Bucknell and St. Joe's of Philadelphia.

COLLEGES/UNIVERSITIES OF INTEREST: Sources tell us that Vermont is recruiting Chandler very hard. Columbia, Penn, Lafayette, Brown, and Bucknell are being mentioned very favorably too in Fraser-Pauls' recruiting process.

SOCCER - COLLEGES/UNIVERSITIES OF INTEREST: Amherst, NYU, Wesleyan, Emory, Kenyon, Ohio Wesleyan and Middlebury have indicated that Chandler could play both sports at its respective schools.
