New York Guard Prospect Lands More Offers

Reporter Mike Sullivan updates New York guard prospect Danny Lawhorn, who has two years to get his individual game ready for the next level ...

Danny Lawhorn, a 5-foot-10 guard from South Kent School in Connecticut, has seen his scholarship offers rise by two division one college basketball programs. "Washington State and Bradley offered too," said Lawhorn.

Lawhorn is also considering a trip to California too. "I should be taken a Cali (California) trip and see the campus," he said, noting he's now a current junior, reclassified. "But I'm not sure cause I can't take officials any more."

Baylor is also involved with Lawhorn. They were also involved in the recruiting process with Danny's friend and teammate at South Kent, Russell Smith, who recently committed to Louisville.

Previously, we reported Danny had a wonderful trip to Providence College. "I enjoyed the campus," he state previously to us. "And the team was great and the way the fans treat the players."

*Lawhorn, born in New York City, is a tough guard, willing to take the ball to the rim against the bigger bodies. He competes hard on both ends of the court.

Previous schools Danny has mentioned to us as being of interest:

Florida, South Florida, Seton Hall, Pittsburgh, St. Bonaventure, Rutgers, Fairfield, St. John's, St. Peter's, Fordham, Maryland, UAB, and Texas.
