"The trip went well," said Tobias' father, Torrel. "We watched practice everyday. Coach (Bob) Huggins runs a pro practice."
Mr. Harris told us there was more than basketball too on this particular campus visit. "We met with head of entrepreneur department. We also met the new President of the University. "
Harris, regarded as the best scoring forward/guard prospect in the nation by many scouts and college coaches, also took in the West Virginia/Louisville football game. But it was the time they spent with the coaching staff that made an impression, according to the Harris family. "We spoke a lot with coach Huggins and the staff," Mr. Harris said.
Mr. Harris added: "It was a great weekend. Tobias realy enjoyed being around the players and taking in everything."
The next visits planned are Maryland and Georgia Tech. Then on November 19th, Tobias is expected to announce his school of choice on ESPNU. He's also considering Kentucky, Syracuse, Louisville, and Tennessee.
