New York Guard Has New Recruiting List

Reporter Mike Sullivan provides a recruiting list update on solid guard prospect Danny Lawhorn, who currently competes at South Kent in the state of Connecticut ...

Danny Lawhorn, a 6-foot-0 guard from South Kent School in Connecticut, told us that Fordham, St. Peter's, Maryland, and Pittsburgh are no longer on his school list.

"Baylor, Fairfield, UAB, Texas Tech, and Providence (offer) are schools on my list," said Lawhorn.

Danny has seen his scholarship offers rise by two division one college basketball programs. "Washington State and Bradley offered too," said Lawhorn.

Lawhorn is also considering a trip to California too. "I should be taken a Cali (California) trip and see the campus," he said, noting he's now a current junior, reclassified. "But I'm not sure cause I can't take officials any more."

Previously, we reported Danny had a wonderful trip to Providence College. "I enjoyed the campus," he state previously to us. "And the team was great and the way the fans treat the players."

*Lawhorn, born in New York City, is a tough guard, willing to take the ball to the rim against the bigger bodies. He competes hard on both ends of the court.

Previous schools Danny has mentioned to us as being of interest:

Florida, South Florida, Seton Hall, St. Bonaventure, Rutgers, and St. John's.
