"The trip to Maryland went well," Mr. Harris said. "We visited the business school and it was awesome, particularly the entrepreneur department."
Mr. Harris further detailed the visit highlights: "We met with head of admissions. We watched Maryland's first game of the year. The fans are crazy and fun."
There were several opportunities to meet up with the Maryland coaches and players. "My family had great sit down meeting with Gary William who I value as a great coach. He always finds a way to beat Duke & North Carolina with less talent.
"He helps lots of his players to reach their potential. I don't think Coach Williams gets enough credit for his success as other coaches around the country. I consider him a future Hall of Famer."
There was more to the trip than basketball too. "Myself, my sons TJ, Terry and the coaches all went to watch the football game while Tobias, Tyler and the Maryland players went to the movies.
"I was impressed that even though the football game was a blowout the Maryland fans were loyal to their team. We had a great meeting with the conditioning and strength coach, and my sons had a very good time at Maryland. It's a great school -- academics through basketball."
This evening, Tobias will fly to Georgia to visit Paul Hewitt's Georgia Tech program. Harris plans on announcing his decision November 19th.
