Upstate Guard Waiting Until Spring To Sign

Reporter Mike Sullivan updates the recruiting status of upstate senior guard prospect Kameron Ritter, who competes in the Albany part of New York State ...

Kameron Ritter, a 6-foot-3 backcourt player from Christian Brothers Academy in Albany, N.Y., will wait until the spring signing period before making a decision on college, according to his AAU head coach, Jim Hart of the Albany City Rocks.

"Kam wants to see what is available come spring," Hart said. "Some schools are hoping he waits and have told him if he does, they might have a spot for him."

JIM HART'S THOUGHTS ON KAM RITTER'S GAME:

He's not a flashy player. But Kam is a player you want making decisions in the offense. He's steady, works hard, and gets his teammates involved in the offense.

PREVIOUS EVALUTION OF KAM RITTER'S INDIVIDUAL GAME:

Kam is a team player who won't force the issue or make silly mistakes. He can fit into any type of offense and be productive.

Ritter takes care of the basketball and has a good feel for the game. He understands the value of every individual possession.

Ritter is also tough on the defensive end. He plays his defender hard and has a big windspan, utilizing his long arms to deflect passes and make on the ball steals against his opponent.
