Devin Coleman, a 6-foot-3, 179-pound shooting guard/small forward from Friends Central High School in Wynnewood, Penn., continues to receive some high division one interest, according to one of his AAU coaches, Paul Gripper, of Team Phenom out of Philadelphia, Penn.

"Providence and Notre Dame have been showing a lot of interest," said Gripper. The recruiting momentum is clearly on the upside for Coleman, who featured a terrific summer of AAU play and followed it up with solid play in local fall leagues.

We previously reported that Coleman ripped off close to 40 points to help his team claim a league playoff game.

Besides Providence and Notre Dame, several schools in the Philadelphia area are monitoring the junior's process.

Among the schools showing interest: Delaware, St. Bonaventure, St. Joe's, Siena, Drexel, Georgia Tech, Massachusetts, Wisconsin, Penn State, Stanford, Georgetown, West Virginia, La Salle, Virginia, Seton Hall, and Florida State.

SOME HIGHLIGHTS OF DEVIN COLEMAN'S SUMMER: *Devin poured in 21 points in helping his team win a first round playoff game in the NIKE Chosen Leauge (19 and under age category). However, Team Phenom lost in a semifinal playoff game to Thaddeus Young, 100-90.

*Devin was the MVP of the Reebok Summer Classic and was named to the All tournament team in an event held at West Virginia in the 16 and under age category Team Phenom team.

*During the summer evaluation month of July, Coleman traveled to Las Vegas and had a nice event. "He scored 31 points to help us advance in the ADIDAS 64," Gripper stated previously.

Devin dropped in 24 points, grabbed four rebounds, and had two assists to help Team Phenom claim a 76-59 victory at the West Virginia Jamfest.
