New Jersey Swingman Prospect Improving Game

Reporter Mike Sullivan provides a free individual look at the basketball game of New Jersey prospect Eric Fanning, a guard/forward who is making progress ...

Eric Fanning, a 6-foot-5, 200-pound multi-purpose combo forward from Trenton Central High School in Trenton, New Jersey, is gearing up for a big year and the expectations are high that he'll make more progress in his individual game.

Fanning has been praised consistently by one of his AAU coaches, Matt Pauls of Team NJABC, a program that competes on a very high level at some of the best national basketball events.

Pauls had previously stated: "He been hearing from schools that compete in the Ivy League, MAAC, NEC, Southern Conference and America East. Because of his progress and Eric working so hard, he'll eventually be a division one player."

PREVIOUS EVALUATION OF ERIC FANNING'S INDIVIDUAL GAME:

Eric does a nice job in the paint, producing baskets near the rim on second chance efforts. He continues to work on his perimeter game, trying to diversify himself as he prepares for the July evaluation period.

Fanning is a solid student too, opening up some academic options if he wishes to explore them over the next couple of years.

Eric competes very hard on both ends of the court, working hard on every possession.
