Harold Spears, a 6-foot-5, 205-pound two-sport star from The Pennington School in Pennington, New Jersey, continues to forge ahead in his basketball season. The two-sport prospect recently tore through the 1,000 point mark in his high school basketball career.

"It's a nice achievement," said Spears. "I just want to help my team win games."

We previously reported that Spears made the all tournament team after The Pennington School knocked off Solebury at its own tournament, 52-39.

Spears, who is wide open in his recruiting process, has options to play basketball and football on a division one level. "I haven't set up any visits for either sport," he said. "I'll try to do that when I get a chance."

Team NJABC had a terrific run in a two-week stretch during the July evaluation period. Matt Pauls' team won nine of 10 games, only losing to the New York Panthers in the quarterfinals at the Summer Classic.

In addition, during the month of July, Team NJABC captured the Joe Brown Memorial tournament run by the Playaz Club of New Jersey.

Spears has a basketball offer from Lafayette and has expressed interest in La Salle, Rider, Bucknell, Princeton, Cornell, and Yale.

Harold can run the 40 in 4.6 seconds. His AAU basketball coach, Matt Pauls of Team NJABC, previously stated that Connecticut, Rutgers, Pittsburgh, Maryland, and Boston College were among the schools on his list.

Harold also has a 3.9 grade point average
