East Coast Underclassman Having Solid Start

Reporter Mike Sullivan provides a free look at the individual game of Dylan Moody, an underclassman who competes for an East Coast based high school ...

Dylan Moody, a 5-foot-10, 170-pound lead guard prospect from Abington Friends School in Jenkintown, Pennsylvania, has started his season off in style.

Moody, a member of the 2011 class and current junior, is presently averaging close to 11 per game and two steals per contest.

Dylan is considered the second option at the lead guard slot behind junior prospect Joey Gripper. He has also worked quite well, chemistry wise, playing at the same time with Gripper, who is considered a division one prospect.

THOUGHTS ON DYLAN MOODY FROM THE COACHING STAFF AT AFS:

"He is a very good shooter, possessing good speed. He's also a very capable defender.

"Dylan is still working on polishing his skills but he does a nice job complimenting Gripper when they play together in the backcourt.

"Dylan does a great job with on the ball defense and this allows Gripper to get his hands in the passing lane, leading to more steals."

It's likely Dylan will be recruited by low division one programs, some division two programs as well.
