, a 5-foot-11, 150-pound guard prospect from Mount Vernon High School in Mount Vernon, New York, said his season is going well thus far.
"We've won all our games," said the talented backcourt player. "We should be getting going now as the schedule picks up."
Year in and year out, Mount Vernon High School has one of the best boy's basketball programs in the country and plays a tough schedule.
"I'm working on all parts of my game, my defense, my perimeter shooting," he said.
Hinds said he is open in his recruiting process. "It's going well. There are a lot of schools that are showing interest."
Among the schools are St. John's University, Wake Forest, Oklahoma, Louisville, St. Francis, James Madison, Seton Hall, South Carolina, UNLV, and Virginia.
"I'm just focusing on my season," said Hinds.
