East Coast Underclassman Having Solid Year

Reporter Mike Sullivan provides a look at the individual game of East Coast backcourt prospect Dylan Moody, who is having a solid season as an underclassman ...

Dylan Moody, a 5-foot-10, 170-pound backcourt guard prospect from Abington Friends School in Jenkintown, Pennsylvania, continues to have a solid season for one of the higher ranked teams in the area.

Moody, a member of the 2011 class and current junior, is presently averaging 11 points and two steals per contest as a backup to lead guard Joey Gripper. There are occasions both play together and the chemistry seems just fine.

THOUGHTS ON DYLAN MOODY FROM THE COACHING STAFF AT AFS:

"He is a very good shooter, possessing good speed. He's also a very capable defender.

"Dylan is still working on polishing his skills but he does a nice job complimenting Gripper when they play together in the backcourt.

"Dylan does a great job with on the ball defense and this allows Gripper to get his hands in the passing lane, leading to more steals."

It's likely Dylan will be recruited by low division one programs, some division two programs as well.

We will keep you updated with his recruiting progress as the season moves along.
