WHAT TEAM NJABC HEAD COACH MATT PAULS SAID PREVIOUSLY ABOUT WAYNE NEWSOM'S INDIVIDUAL GAME:

He plays hard near the rim and does a great job grabbing rebounds on both ends of the court. He had a great summer because he never quit on the ball around the basket.

Wayne has been working a while on his ballhandling skills and making improvements in his jump shooting. He has always worked hard and often works out two to three times a day.

COLLEGES/UNIVERSITIES OF INTEREST IN HIS RECRUITING PROCESS:

According to his AAU head coach, Matt Pauls, Wayne is still wide open in his recruiting process. He had previously mentioned interest in schools like Columbia, Yale, Penn, Binghamton, Rider, Harvard, Mount Saint Mary's, and Quinnipiac.
