Kenny Johnson, a 6-foot-3, 175-pound small forward/shooting guard prospect from Abington Friends School in Jenkinstown, Pennsylvania, has had a very good junior season, prompting many division one programs to monitor his progress. The member of the 2011 class has had his share of quality performances too, as detailed below:


Kenny scored 21 points and grabbed seven rebounds in the first game of the Harrington Tournament.


Johnson added 15 points and grabbed seven rebounds to help his team claim the tournament title against Harrington. Johnson was named to the all tournament team.

Kenny averages nearly 15 points per game. He produces many of his points in the paint, near the basket. He is also very efficient in claiming rebounds, averaging around six per contest.

AAU TEAM: Team Phenom


Penn, Brown, Elon, Columbia, Bucknell, Yale, Wagner and Bryant. He remains open in his recruiting process.

Kenny, who competes for Paul Gripper's very competitive Team Phenom AAU basketball program during spring and summer events, should be a player closely monitored by some division one basketball programs during the tournaments.
