The third of four games held inside Lou Carnesecca Arena on the campus of St. John's, featured the best game of the day, a Transit Tech 60-53 victory.

Transit Tech took a narrow 12-9 victory after the first eight minutes of play and increased the lead to 28-21 advantage at the half. Heading into the fourth quarter, TT carried a 41-35 lead.

Barry Posey scored 11 points to help the winners hold off a Jefferson rally late in the second half of play.

Brown, a big man who used his frame well near the rim, is committed to Manhattan College for next season. He is a good shotblocker too, making his presence felt on both ends of the court.
