Winning the City title in the PSAL championship game at Madison Square Garden was certainly a great team achievement for Boys & Girls High School.

And having individual skill guard Michael Taylor was one of the big reasons by the Kangaroos went all the way, landing the championship trophy.

Taylor, a 6-foot-2, 185-pound shooting guard, has a great deal of skill, including the ability to drain long range jumpers. He is a player that can produce a bunch of points in a short period of time.

While watching Taylor help Boys & Girls on their title run, one is easily impressed that he has the skill level to play high division one basketball on the college level.

The 2011 prospect, a current junior, will continue to make improvements in his individual game as he competes in the spring IS8 League and also finds time to play in AAU tournaments.

Taylor has an open list of schools but it does include Oklahoma State, Siena, South Florida, Central Florida, VCU, and Villanova.
